A Perfect Day for Pumpkin Picking

a perfect day, fall, let's explore

This year my fall season has been relocated. During summer I moved from my hometown of Louisville, KY to Redding, CA. When I first relocated, I thought the weather was going to be similar and was expecting an incredible fall season of flannels, firepits, pumpkin and apple picking, and wine tasting. I must admit this-Northern California falls are incredibly different than the Kentucky ones my heart has grown accustomed to. In light of this, it was time for an adventure. My housemate Audrey and I decided we were going to help fall come our way by pumpkin picking at a nearby pumpkin patch.

We found our new fall favorite at Nash Ranch. This is a family-owned piece of land in Redding and has been serving the community for over 20 years. They have various pumpkin varieties, a petting zoo, and corn maze. We had a great day there enjoying the fall season and even braved the weather wearing our flannels in 80 degree weather.

What are some of your favorite fall memories?
