What’s in My Bag?

Today I decided to share that crazy question, all men are afraid to ask and most women wonder of one another. What’s actually in my bag? For many this bag and it’s contents have seemed like that of Mary Poppins. It seems that the amount it can hold is endless and somewhat magical. Here are some of my daily essentials that are always in my bag.

Keep reading for a sneak peak inside the bag after the jump!

The bag:

I can’t rave enough about this bag. I purchased this tote in a classic cognac from Madewell last fall for school. It has gone through daily wear and tear and still looks amazing. It holds everything I need from coffee to water bottles, my iPad, my lunch, and notebooks. If you’re looking for a bag that will go the long-haul as an investment piece, pick this zipped tote up.

What’s inside:

The Get-to Work Planner is laid out to get things done and make things happen. In the past month, this and my personal assistant have been necessary lifelines for me. Keeping everything from contractors, vendors, and clients organized. My favorite part of this planner is the project management charts. It is great to keep me focused on project buildout and overhauls that have multiple phases and pre-production deadlines. For 2017, I’ll be purchasing a notepad of these project management charts because they’ve been so helpful.

Moleskine Cashier Notebook in Mint is the perfect size to carry on the go. In classic Moleskine styling, it stays on-trend with a fresh color. I honestly love the color and it just makes me happy when I look at it. I use it for notes for client meetings and project intake. It is great for keeping to-do lists past what my planner can hold and for jotting down ideas,  wherever inspiration hits.

My Warby Parker sunglasses are a new favorite and investment. I usually don’t splurge on designer sunglasses, but these are perfect. They fit my face and the precarious ridges on the bridge of my nose. I love their at-home try on feature that is apart of the Warby Parker experience. I selected these frames due to the width and the shape of the lens, juxtaposing the strong oval nature of my face. An added bonus? The gray tortoise styling on the frame is unique.

Other necessities: Apple earphones (for legal and hands-free driving), Organic Peppermints from Trader Joe’s, an extra memory card for my DSLR, Pilot G2 pen, and Tarte moisturizing lip crayon.
