What’s In My Bag: A Midwest Wedding Weekend

This weekend I’m taking a long weekend to celebrate a college bestie and a wedding weekend in the midwest. I decided to bring you all along, as I share what’s inside my bag. From light layers to a simple palette, these pieces are perfect for the fall season and can be worn again and again, far after a special occasion. The best part? With a bit of smart packing it all fits into a weekender bag.

01. For the Plane

If you’re anything like me, you might find that air conditioning on planes is a bit too much to handle. Because of this, I love wearing a popover with distressed skinnies. Paired with a pair of classic Nike’s it’s perfect for early mornings and long days of travel.

02. The Rehearsal Dinner

With a bit of trendy accessories, elevate a chambray shirtdress for a night with brews, bonfires, and cornhole. We love the cut out flats and can’t wait to use these throughout the fall season. Paired with a bold, geometric earring and a casual up do, enjoy the ease and casual nature of all that the Midwest has to offer.

03. The Wedding Day

Made with chiffon and with pockets, we purchased this dress for a graduation and have worn it to two weddings since. It’s a lightweight material perfect for summer and early fall and in a navy shade, its spanned the seasons flawlessly. By pairing it with a casual zipped bootie, it stays within the wardrobe of the groom’s side, perfect for my role in this wedding.
