This Weekend

Happy Friday everyone!

This week has been another full one. I’m super thankful for product management and apps that keep me organized. This week we’ve been preparing for styling at a calligraphy workshop, working on another seasonal foodie collaboration, finding sponsorship for the fall and filling out permanent renters at WORK. (If you haven’t checked out the space yet, you totally should here.) I’ve also been working on a personal challenge that I can’t wait to share with you guys. It’s going to be incredible and is going to push the envelope a bit! I’m excited to post it here and start the conversation.

This weekend is going to be a blitz. I have a launch party to attend on Friday, a calligraphy workshop to style on Saturday, deep cleaning to do around the house, and a DIY that will hopefully launch a bedroom makeover (and give me a place to store my socks). The plan is to relax and spend some time by the lake as my reward Saturday evening.

Here are a few things I’ve been loving on the Internet lately:

These jeans from Madewell. Perfect for fall and with the knee rips, they’re breathable. Which I’m all about in our fall temps of 90.

Founded by friends Josh, Dave, and & Matt, this video will delight and inspire you. They have made the streets of London their salon, providing free haircuts to the homeless for years. If you haven’t watched it yet do so. I’ve always had dreams of not only being apart of a creative community, but developing one that brought character, virtue, and beauty to wherever I lived. This video was a checking point for me. How am I doing good in the community I’m in with the skills I possess?

I’ve been a fan of Print magazine for a long, long time. In college, students were known to have one thing on our Christmas list, Print’s Regional Design annual. Not so secretly, we all knew one day we wanted our work to be represented in the RDA as well. They recently released their 15 artists under 30 list. (It seems odd to look at this list realizing I’m 6 months away from 29. I digress.) Make sure you head here to see up and coming talent that is incredible, provocative, and setting new trends.

Just in case you missed it, here are this week’s posts: Be StillA French Fete Birthday, Styling and Floral, The Menu, Haricot Verts in Herbed Brown Butter, Braised Chicken with Shallots and Chanterelle Mushrooms, and Tomato Tart

What are you up to this weekend?
