Every year as my birthday rolls around, the Christmas season has come to a close and the few weeks of dreams has awakened. This year is no different and as I look forward to a few items to purchase in 2018, here’s the list of items on my birthday wish list for the year. Some are adventures and others are major life moments, but either way they are equally valuable. More than anything during my 20s I learned the value of running after my dreams and passions wholeheartedly. That’s why I’m choosing honesty when it comes to the heart part of the list because this year is on where I truly longs for certain pieces of the puzzle ot be added. It’s real, true, and feels right. I have a feeling 30 is going to be a tremendous year.

Happy Tuesday everyone!
Today marks an important day as I head back to school for the last time. It’s a very happy first day indeed! As I’ve grown older the back to school tradition has remained a great reason to maintain my gear, pick up a few great office essentials, and return to a routine with more structured hours. This list includes a great bag, office essentials, and some great camera gear to freshen and brighten up our office hours and work this year.

Every year the month of April brings a feeling of preparation and anticipation. May marks the end of another school year, farewells, goodbyes, and finding that much like the seasons, change comes quickly. We clean and tidy up the house, preparing for springtime gatherings. Whether it’s bonfires by the lake under the stars, an Easter brunch, or birthdays, it’s the time of year where dining outside becomes the norm. We’ve pulled together a few of our favorite items for the home and have our eye on some of these pieces coming to the table soon. With muted hues, earthen stoneware, and natural pops of color, this edit is a beautiful curated collection to welcome in spring.
With Mother’s Day just around the corner (May 10th, just in case you needed a reminder), I thought I would compile a gift guide for all your favorite moms out there. When it comes to Mother’s Day shopping, I feel stuck as what to get my mom and maybe you struggle with the same thing. There are years she really does want the on-trend kitchen gadget of the year or a cute new outfit, but it seems now a facetime coffee date and card in the mail make her absolutely ecstatic. However, I still love sending my mom pretty things should wouldn’t expect and love, knowing that she wouldn’t make the splurge on herself. There are a few items on here I know any mom would love and some I want to give to my mom this year. (That’s as much as I can share, she is an avid reader and I don’t want to spoil any surprises!) I decided to break this gift list into a few categories, according to your mom’s interests and hobbies. Keep reading for the full gift guide!
During the past year, I have found that I’m absolutely loving basic and minimal pieces. While I have thought about shifting my wardrobe to strictly capsule pieces, I am loving rotating and pair blacks, whites, and denims with the occasional stripe, delicate touch of gold and blush tones.
