I must admit, I have a slight obsession. While some may think that wrapping is just a holiday necessity, I absolutely love creating beautiful packages to go underneath the tree. Some years I opt to go for simple packages, but this year I decided to use the same paper and create three different looks.
Lets’s start with the paper:
Supplies:
- kraft paper (purchased from the dollar store)
- liquid gold leaf paint
- paintbrush
Cut your paper down to the dimension of your package. Take the paper and crinkle it into the smallest ball you can. Next, flatten the paper and smooth out the wrinkles with your hand. Using the side of the paintbrush move the paint so it picks up the texture you created in the paper.
For the nature lover:
Supplies:
- Feather
- Foraged pine branch
- White string
- Small birch round (purchased at Michaels)
- Sharpie Pen
For the tradition keeper:
Supplies:
- Red ribbon
- Wooden picture frame (purchased at Michaels)
- Instagram Picture
- White pen
For the fashion-savvy:
Supplies:
- Holiday catalogues
- Paper Bow Template (I used google to find mine)
- Scissors
- Hot glue
Let get wrapping!
