Soak and Swim: 2017 Swim Picks

Summer is almost upon us. This Sunday NorCal will hit triple digits. You will find me at the lake or by the pool. For most of us, we live in our swimsuits when it comes to summertime and while I used to think one pieces were the norm; however, when it comes to life in NorCal it’s hot, hot, hot. Two pieces have become a necessity to prevent heat stroke. (That’s all too real when kayaking on the lake under midday sun.) I’ve moved away from sets and have added variety to my collection by choosing different tops. It’s a great way to add a fresh piece and look without spending loads of money.

Last year I purchased these bottoms from Albion Fit and absolutely love them. With being high waisted and full coverage, there’s a lot more grace whether houseboating on the lake, hiking up waterfalls, or hoping in and out of a kayak. When it comes to swimwear, I’m a firm believer that things should stay put. Because I love these bottoms so much, I’ve paired three tops that will go with this basic.

Keep reading for our swim picks for 2017. Perfect for soaking in the sun and swimming in the surf!
