Let’s Go with Grana

As the temperatures have increased and the rain has finally subsided, we took the weekend to go on a few adventures. When it comes to adventures, it is something we have neglected in the rhythm of our life, but something our heart desperately needs. Rather than the big trip (yes Australia we really miss you already) or a road trip, we headed to the local lake to do a few hikes. We headed to Brandy Creek falls. With our recent winter and spring rains, this hike was amazing and far more exciting than in years past.

Keep reading for all the details after the jump!

There are some basic essentials we have for every hike. Here’s a peek inside our bag.

Sunscreen from Arbonne | Modern Commuter Backback from Everlane | Hydroflask | RxBar  National Park Pass | Warby Parker Sunglasses | Canon 6D with 50 mm lens | ONA Strap

We committed to a 3 mile hike along the creek and riverbed. When it comes to hiking and local adventures, I love to find pieces that work with my life and look amazing. When Grana announced the release of their Move activewear line, I was ecstatic. Like all Grana products, they are ethically sourced fabrics and transparent in their making process. To mix things up, I went with the legging and racerfront crop top in this spring’s on trend color Port. Upon arrival they were paired with a bag to place any dirty items from the gym. Since then, these pieces have stayed pristine in the context of a gym, but they are meant to be used right? We hit the trail and got moving. To stay a bit warmer, I layered a basic gray tank on top and completed the look with our favorite pair of Nike’s.

Later this week, we’re headed to a few more challenging hikes and getting our kayak out on the lake.
