Father’s Day Gift Guide

Every year, I struggle to know what to buy my dad for Father’s Day. I don’t know if you find yourself in the same place or not, but my dad is definitely a man who knows what he wants. An avid sportsman, I can’t tell you how many times his wish list has consisted of a specific colored fishing lure or reel for a given holiday. Inspired by my dad and his love of the outdoors, this year’s list is for any man who loves to spend time outside. (By the way, thanks dad for instilling your love of the outdoors in us. While I’m not the best fishing partner and probably won’t go shooting anytime soon, I remember all the trips you planned to national parks during our childhood. Now I choose to live by two and can hold my own on the trail.)  These items are essentials for the adventure lover and one who loves to relax outside. Not to worry there aren’t any speckled chartreuse lures on this list.

Featuring some of my favorite brands and companies these items will be ones your dad or husband will love and use for years to come. I must admit I own the lady version of all of these products and have found them to be durable and perfect for days where you begin at brunch, spend the afternoon on the trail, and then head to a brewery to grab a nice cold pint as the sun goes down.
