A Tapas and Sangria Party

Over the years, I have tried to cultivate a culture of celebration, a passing of seasons, and loving others well in my life. Through these moments surrounding a table that goes late into the evening, I have found that timeless memories are created. Moments where time seamlessly stands still, people are free to interact knowing they are completely loved, cared for, and will remember moments like this in the future. This is the kind of community I know I want to be apart of and continue to cultivate in my life. It is in these moments that the ordinary, seemingly mundane become magical, filled with life and optimism, where life is celebrated, food is enjoyed, and we find the commonalities that bind us together.

With it being a change in season as the school year was coming to a close, I knew I wanted to honor some new friends in my life that were headed to Europe over the summer. Inspired by two of their summer locale, the island of Ibezia, I wanted to create a delicious seven-round menu of tapas and various pairings of sangria.

This week I’ll let you behind the scenes of the party, sharing my centerpiece, recipes, and hosting tips. This was a night that will go down in the books as one of my most cherished in Redding thus far. Until tomorrow friends!
